we thought it was a good burger. there are a lot of options, and sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. they had no “go-to” burger, according to them, its all good. and it is. good not great.
edit: we don’t mean to sound harsh. this place was just very busy, very popular, and we had heard so many good things from people. so we were just expecting to be wowed and it didn’t happen. you should give it a try and see for yourself!
Cheddar Burger - 24 Diner

and we a front runner for Burger of the Year. we had to resist the urge to order their famous chicken & waffles. and while this burger is on the pricier side, it is worth double what they charge for it. we had this burger almost a week ago and hadn’t found an perfect way to describe it’s deliciousness. it’s the best burger we’ve ever had.

we were avoiding this day since we got this suggestion. we hadn’t heard a lot of great things. mainly the fact that there were SO many choices it was easy to screw up a good sandwich because one tried to be fancy. having said that, this place rocked!the staff was nice, it’s in a great neighborhood, the food was quick, hot, and seriously delicious.
it was much more than a gourmet grilled cheese place. thanks to hoarr for the suggestion!
Derek’s Favorite Chicken Buns - East Side King @ The Liberty

this is on of those types of food where you’re not sure how to categorize it. the curry bun almost makes it half taco-half sandwich but it’s freaking delicious. also while you’re there order the Poor Qui’s Buns too. we did, because, as always with most places, we felt like there wasn’t enough bang for our buck.
